Suncoast Waterkeeper’s Voices for Water: Advocacy Program is designed to empower citizens to become a voice for clean water and conservation!
Goals:
✔️ Learn & Lead – Receive in-depth issue training to advocate for water protection confidently
✔️ Engage with Officials – Meet directly with local leaders in Sarasota and Manatee Counties to discuss critical water issues.
✔️ Advocacy Made Manageable – Just 3 simple meetings—train, advocate, and celebrate!

Key Dates:
- January: Sign up and secure your spot.
- February 9 OR March 8: Attend one of our training sessions to prepare and learn about your chosen clean water issue. February 9 will be for Manatee County issues, March 8 will be for Sarasota County and City of Sarasota issues.
- February 2–March 22, 2025: Join your group members to meet with government officials during our Advocacy Window from World Wetlands Day (Feb. 2) to World Water Day (Mar. 22).

April: Celebrate your impact at our Volunteer Debrief and Thank You Event.
