Suncoast Waterkeeper is a part of Waterkeeper Alliance, a global movement of community-based advocates united for clean, healthy, and abundant water for all people and the planet. Today, Waterkeeper Alliance unites more than 300 Waterkeeper groups that are on the front lines of the planetary environmental crisis, patrolling and protecting more than 2.5 million square miles of rivers, lakes, and coastal waterways on six continents.
Waterkeepers Florida
Suncoast Waterkeeper is a part of Waterkeepers Florida. Waterkeepers Florida is a regional entity composed of all 15 Waterkeeper organizations working throughout the State of Florida to protect and restore our water resources across over 50,000 square miles of watershed which is home to over 15 million Floridians.Part scientist, teacher, and legal advocate, Waterkeepers combine firsthand knowledge of their waterways with an unwavering commitment to the rights of their communities and to the rule of law.
