Estates at Glenn Lakes

 

Last 9/30/2026, we joined your community at the HOA meeting. Pia Ronquillo-See from Suncoast Waterkeeper, Michael Sherron and Alissa Powers from Manatee County Government, and Michelle Atkinson from the Manatee County UF/IFAS Extension Office presented the estimated nitrogen footprint of Estates at Glenn Lakes per year, based on your community's fertilizer use and irrigation practices. We also presented the concrete steps your HOA can take to reduce your nitrogen footprint and management costs based on your turf.

Next week, on 10/20/2026 Tuesday, we will be at Estates at Glenn Lakes to mark the storm drains around your neighborhood. The storm drain markers will serve as a reminder that any pollution and waste that enters your storm drains will eventually flow into Sarasota Bay.

We have a shared responsibility to protect our bays, and we hope to engage the residents and homeowners to volunteer to mark storm drains with us!
