Brice Claypoole - Board Member

Brice Claypoole is an 18-year-old environmental advocate from Sarasota. He is a naturalist, writer, and award-winning photographer. He has published the blog The Kid Who Cares since 2020. He writes about various issues, including climate change, extinction, wetland protection, and Florida politics. His journalism and essays have been published in various Florida news outlets as well as The Washington Post. Brice is a member of the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program’s Citizen Advisory Committee and served on the 2024 Youth Ocean Conservation Summit Leadership Team. He is also an intern journalist with WSLR News.
