Ali Foster Claypoole - Vice Chair
Ali Foster Claypoole, is a Sarasota native, who strayed for twenty years, before returning to raise her family on Sarasota Bay. She’s a sailor, diver, lover of all things marine science, and homeschooling mother. Having grown up playing in and along Sarasota’s bays and beaches, her biggest joy living in Sarasota is sharing her love of all things wild, salty, and local with her husband and children.
Over the last few years, Ali has supported local environmental protection efforts volunteering with Suncoast Waterkeeper, Kids for Clean Water, Bubbles of Hope, Oyster River Ecology, Sarasota Bay Watch and Sarasota Bay Estuary Program. She is delighted to deepen her contributions to our community through her work as a board member of Suncoast Waterkeeper.
