Grab a team of four or let us put you on a team to compete/participate in the inaugural Great Beer Challenge. There will an Opening Ceremony, Game Time Access (up to 5 unique/fun team games), and an ultimate Awards Ceremony. Our objective is for you to have fun, meet new people, and enjoy delicious beer. Celebrating a history to date of letting the good times roll. Read below on the History of The Great Beer Challenge.

History
Join your fellow friends and family in the ultimate experience of meeting new people, enjoying the outdoors, and enjoying quality brews. Tickets are now on sale for Teams of Four, Individual Access, and Spectator Access. 
Our German History - In 1472 Heinrich Huntz set out to make a difference in the beer community, with beer halls full of traditional beer hall consumption, bar talk and beer maid ogling. He dreamed of a better way to consume his beer. One dreary night in Munich he set out to his stable to devise the best drinking games in the world. He toiled all night drinking liter after liter of German stein. Ach du liber! As the sun peeked over the moss of the trees Heinrich burst through the doors of his stable. I've done it he exclaimed! While holding his invention in the clasp of his hands he ran down to the local beer hall and showed all of his friends. Showing them game by game they cheered in excitement, with steins clashing and beer maids singing, the Great Beer Challenge was born. Many years of competetion created the ultimate awards cermeony of entertainment and medals to remember that great challenges bears great friends. 


Important Details

Your Ticket will include some awesome swag and delicious brews from Sweetwater Brewing Company. We will still be doing a Awards Ceremony, Costume Contest and Check Presentation to Waterkeeper.Org after the event! 
Venue
St Pete Shuffle is the PERFECT venue for the first Great Beer Challenge. Plenty of parking, within walking distance of downtown, and a unique setting with a multitude of awesome shuffleboard courts.
